New Horizons: Philanthropitch+ Vision Galveston 2022 donates over $82,000!

Yesterday, we joined up with Vision Galveston to bring Philanthropitch to the Texas shores!

Vision Galveston selected 3 local nonprofits; MiCreate, Galveston’s Own Farmers Market and La Izquierda Fest to work with our coaches and develop a pitch for funding based on their programs.

After weeks of training and practice, the three finalists organizations pitched last night to a bustling crowd of Galveston education professionals, first responders, healthcare workers, neighbors and friends!

The audience got to hear how each organization is bettering lives through crucial community programs and services.

We’re proud to say Philanthropitch+ Vision Galveston culminated in $82,869 in donations to this group of finalists. Amazing! Thank you to each of these three orgs for your necessary work bettering Texas communities.

We’re thrilled to have worked with this group of innovators. We can’t wait for the next one!
