Philanthropitch Austin, presented by Legacy Collective, was a huge success! We are pleased to announce that, thanks to YOU, our awesome judges, and our generous funders - over $100,000 was donated to the finalists! Here’s how the money broke out:

Our week-long virtual voting period saw over 220 votes  and 1,575 visitors to our virtual stage from across Texas and from states as far away as Virginia, Wyoming and Washington. Getting dollars from around the nation into the hands of our finalists has been a highlight of this year’s virtual event.

The 2021 Philanthropitch Austin finalists were: MEASURE, The Texas Book Festival, Flatwater Foundation, Austin Soundwaves, American YouthWorks, MELJ Justice Center and Tankproof.  We celebrated their wins with them last night at the Philanthropitch Austin Awards Ceremony. If you haven’t had the chance to watch, click the link below!

Leading up to the event our Judges and Sponsors provided resources and feedback to help the finalists hone their pitches. There is a reason we call Philanthropitch a journey; it’s exciting, it’s rewarding, and it requires a ton of hard work! We are grateful to every participant, from finalist to judge, for helping make this year’s Philanthropitch Austin so great.

Pivoting to virtual didn’t slow us down! Finalists, Sponsors  and the Philanthropitch Team alike hosted watch parties to view the pitches and rally around these incredible nonprofit organizations.
