Announcing the 2020 San Antonio Finalists

Thank you to all of the wonderful San Antonio organizations that applied to our third annual event. We are excited to announce the seven nonprofits who will continue perfecting their pitch before the big even. Philanthropitch will offer these organizations knowledge through intensive workshops and practice sessions, collaboration with like-minded nonprofit professionals, and access to unrestricted capital.

Meet the 2020 San Antonio Finalists:

Animal Defense League enhances the quality of life for the abandoned, abused and neglected pets in our community by providing needed medical care, including spaying and neutering, food, shelter, and safety – along with compassion and attention. While maintaining a healthy and loving facility, ADL consistently works to find the best possible home for each resident animal.

Black Outside provides culturally relevant outdoor experiences to youth of color across Central Texas. They intentionally craft experiences that build off of the powerful history of people of color in the outdoors, and deepen the leadership skills of our youth.

Good Samaritan’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for change, supporting youth, individuals, and families by providing excellent community services to overcome economic poverty.

Junior Achievement South Texas (JAST) inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.

Mission City Renewal engages communities by incubating projects and designing resources for the renewal of local neighborhoods.

The Mobile Mental Wellness Collaborative of San Antonio meets the behavioral health needs of school-aged students in their educational environment, reaching every child with mental health risk concerns as early as possible with effective and responsive services. The pilot Mobile Mental Health Collaboration partners are South San Antonio ISD, Jewish Family Service of San Antonio (lead agency), Family Service Association, Clarity Child Guidance Center, Communities in Schools, and Rise Recovery, and Children Bereavement Center.

Say Sí ignites the creative power of young people as forces of positive change. We value artists, empower marginalized communities and advance culture.

We would like to extend a thank you to our presenting sponsor:
