Announcing the Philanthropitch Austin Semi-Finalists

Philanthropitch presented by Legacy Collective will return to Austin on May 7 at the LBJ Auditorium at the University of Texas. Over the last 6 years, more than 30 local Austin nonprofits have participated in Philanthropitch. In just a few months, seven nonprofits will pitch their most innovative ideas to a panel of judges and a live audience.

To make it to the Philanthropitch stage, nonprofits submit details on how they make a difference and why they need risk capital to scale their impact. After a thorough review, our team selects semi-finalists based on the sustainability and scalability of each organization’s impact model.

This year, we received 54 applications for Philanthropitch Austin! It was difficult to pick just 12 semi-finalists. Austin’s social impact community believes in innovation – something that was very apparent in each application!

Without further ado, we are pleased to introduce you to the 12 Semi-Finalists for Philanthropitch Austin 2019!
